Contacting JAMELIS
This website presents JAMELIS and links to its products. It contains email links, not a contact form, newsletter signup or checkout. Following an email link opens your mail application. If you email us, we receive your email address and the information you choose to include. We use it to answer your enquiry and provide requested support, and where necessary to maintain business records. This processing supports your request or our legitimate interest in managing enquiries; applicable legal obligations may also require records.
Google Analytics and your choice
We use Google Analytics 4, provided by Google, to understand how this site is used and improve it. Analytics starts only after you select ACCEPT. Before acceptance, or if you select REFUSE, the Google tag is not loaded and no analytics request is sent to Google. Refusal does not prevent access to the site or product links.
After acceptance we measure page views, referring website origins, approved UTM source/medium/campaign labels, and clicks to the Publisher Migration Tool website or its free-trial download page. A download-link click does not prove a file was downloaded. We do not measure purchases here.
No email, name, phone number, postal address, VAT ID, form contents or other business/contact information is intentionally sent to GA4. We do not use user-provided-data collection, user IDs, advertising personalization or Google Signals in this integration. URL fragments and unapproved query parameters are excluded; public business details on the page are not analytics event data.
After consent, Google can receive analytics cookie identifiers and browser/device information, and receives the IP address at the network level. Google states that GA4 does not log or store individual IP addresses. Analytics cookies use the names _ga and _ga_*; this implementation configures them to expire after 180 days, refreshed on consented visits. Google may process data outside the EEA under the safeguards described in its privacy policy. See also Google’s data safeguards.
Changing your choice
Use Cookie settings in any footer, then REFUSE, to withdraw consent. Withdrawal stops future analytics and removes accessible _ga cookies. Requests already sent cannot be recalled. Your choice is saved in localStorage to remember it across pages until you change it or clear your browser storage. If this storage is unavailable, analytics stays disabled.
Other websites and technical operation
Publisher Migration Tool is a separate website with its own privacy policy and consent controls. Following its links does not transfer your JAMELIS consent. Email and web hosting services may process communications and technical connection logs to operate the service. This static website contains no application code that stores contact submissions or automatically deletes hosting logs.
Retention and decisions still to confirm
Contact correspondence is kept only as needed to handle the request, support the relationship or meet applicable obligations. Precise retention schedules for correspondence, hosting logs and backups, the hosting/mail processor disclosures and the GA4 account’s event-data retention setting remain to be confirmed. This site does not implement a purge for those systems, and we do not claim a fixed deletion period for them. The browser preference and analytics-cookie behavior are described above.
Your rights
You may request access, correction, erasure, restriction, objection or portability where applicable, and withdraw consent without affecting earlier lawful processing. Contact info@jamelis.com. You may also complain to the Belgian Data Protection Authority.
